Gance's Complete Catering provides a complete range of services from planning, assisting and staffing your event, to managing rental items.
Unless your event site has its own chef and dining area, you are allowed to choose your caterer. Gance’s will contact your facility to find out any other requirements they may have for caterers. When you select your facility, please make certain that there is enough time for catering set-up and clean up. The amount of time needed will depend on the services we are asked to provide.
Most event sites will have, at least, tables and chairs. The remaining items must be brought in. If Gance’s provides the rentals, we charge rental company price. We take responsibility for correct and timely deliveries and pick-up, required rinsing, sorting, and storing of the rented items.
We can create a custom menu from our many selections, taking into consideration such factors as the time of day of the event, season, and clients’ special dietary needs.
Our food is prepared and stored in our licensed, full-service kitchen in Binghamton NY, where the highest standards for food service preparation, handling, and storage are constantly monitored and maintained.
We can arrange food samples for your hard to make choices. We will discuss the particulars – time, cost etc. with each client individually. we limit tastings to 4 people at a time.
Other aspects of the event, such as floral arrangements and entertainment, Should be provided by the host of the event. However, Gance’s has many recommended vendors which we would be happy to share with you.
TABLES & DECORATION
For your event, you may need tables, chairs, linen, china, glassware, stemware, flatware, etc. You may either arrange for them yourself or have Gance’s provide them. Our Event Planning Checklist is a comprehensive list of items you may need for your event.
All full service events include waitstaff and kitchen staff. Any additional staffing, can be added to your event at an hourly rate.
